Sachin Tendulkar played for Pakistan before representing India!!

The Master Blaster, the God of  Cricket  Sachin Tendulkar has been the pioneer of batting in the cricketing world, scoring 34357 runs in international cricket. Having the distinction of playing at the highest level for 24 years, this elegant Mumbaikar has created many world records in batting. Some of them are very hard to break shortly.

Being a child prodigy, Sachin came into the limelight when he had a marathon partnership of 664 runs with his childhood friend Vinod Kambli in 1988. A year later, Sachin makes his way into the India team and, the rest is history.

In 1987, India faced the arch-rival Pakistan in an ODI match at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. When the ace Pakistani players Javed Miandad and Abdul Qadir left the field, a 14year old local player was asked to take the field as a standby player. That was none other than Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He recalled this incident in his autobiography "Playing It My Way". Two years later, he made his international debut versus Pakistan as a 16year brave lad.
